Great Oak CA seniors Audrey Dang and Aubrie Nex, along with sophomore Divine Torza, helped the Wolfpack win the 5-kilometer girls Nike Race of Champions title with a 71-125 victory over Loudoun Valley VA at the Great American Cross Country Festival at WakeMed Park in Cary, N.C. Dang placed 25th in 18:14.8, Nex took 35th in 18:28.8 and Torza finished 46th in 18:41.3 for the Wolfpack, who had all five scorers in the top 35 and all seven athletes place in the top 50 to become the first California girls team to win the Race of Champions in the meet's 20-year history.
